This Privacy Policy applies to the SkyStream mobile application (“the App”), provided by Yassine Essadi (“we”, “us”, or “our”). It explains what information the App handles and how. By using SkyStream, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Account information: SkyStream does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.
Information stored on your device: The App stores certain data locally on your device to provide its features, such as your watch history and “continue watching” list, your favorite channels, and app settings. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Information collected automatically for advertising: SkyStream displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may automatically collect certain information, including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, and app interaction data. This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Provide and maintain the App's features (such as resuming playback and showing favorites);
- Display advertisements that help support the App;
- Improve the App's stability and performance.
Advertising
SkyStream uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google may use device identifiers and other data to provide personalized or non-personalized advertising. You can learn more about how Google uses this data, and your choices, here:

You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

SkyStream is a media player that can access live streams and channels provided by third parties. We do not own, host, or control this third-party content, and this policy does not cover the practices of those external sources or services.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information with third parties except as needed for the advertising services described above (Google AdMob), which operate under their own privacy terms.
Data Retention
Data stored locally on your device (watch history, favorites, settings) remains until you clear it within the App, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Information processed by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's policies.
Your Choices
- Watch history / favorites: You can clear these within the App or by clearing the App's storage in your device settings.
- Advertising: You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
- Uninstalling: Removing the App deletes the data stored locally on your device.
Children's Privacy
SkyStream is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same location with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
